Aloha From Maresa

Aloha Kakou,

As an editor, I have an eye for details. Sometimes it’s a blessing (when I spot a pesky typo), and other times it’s a curse (when I’m bothered by clashing colors). But mostly, it means I have a profound appreciation for the small things in life.

Although interior design and architecture is a big-picture concept, it is composed of countless details to achieve the final spectacular product.
Architectural details can be understated like crown molding, or over-the-top like the floating spiral staircase featured on the front page of this issue’s editorial (turn the page to see). Often, I prefer unexpected details to traditional applications; they give a home personality.

If you are in the market for a Hawaiian home that is elevated by its architectural details, please contact me or one of the Realtors® in
Luxury Home Magazine®. If you prefer to put your own design stamp on your abode, please reach out to any of the Industry Professionals in Pacific Luxury Living™ to make your detailed dreams a residential reality.

Mahalo nui loa,
